Suspended above the dining area of gaga’s flagship store in Beijing’s Taikoo Li Sanlitun, Arc of the Wind introduces movement as an architectural element within the restaurant interior. Designed by Shanghai-based installation art studio topoloy, the site-specific work occupies the upper volume of the space, transforming an otherwise unused ceiling zone into a dynamic spatial feature that unfolds gradually throughout the day. Located in Puebla, Mexico, the Prefab Accessory Dwelling Unit was designed by M.Arch. Alfonso Alvarez Sandoval of A + A Arquitectos explores an alternative model of sustainable and transportable housing. As part of its annual Greenfield Residency program, Vertico provides universities with access to large-scale 3D concrete printing and robotic fabrication technologies. South Korean skincare brand SKIN1004 has opened its first flagship store in New York City, occupying a two-story retail space at 470 Broadway in SoHo. Designed by LMTLS, the 9,900-square-foot store translates the brand’s identity into a spatial experience through a restrained material palette, sculptural forms, and immersive interior elements.
