South Korean skincare brand SKIN1004 has opened its first flagship store in New York City, occupying a two-story retail space at 470 Broadway in SoHo. Designed by LMTLS, the 9,900-square-foot store translates the brand’s identity into a spatial experience through a restrained material palette, sculptural forms, and immersive interior elements. The design draws inspiration from the natural landscapes associated with SKIN1004’s Madagascar-sourced ingredients. The proposed “Arc de Trump,” officially titled the United States Triumphal Arch, has moved a major step closer to construction after receiving approval from the U.S. Commission of Fine Arts in Washington DC.
