A short video circulating on social media has drawn global attention to a hotel in southern China whose setting feels improbably cinematic. Framed by steep limestone peaks and drifting mist, the scene prompted many viewers to compare it to the floating landscapes of Avatar, and some even questioned whether the imagery was real.

The property, LS Hotel (Guilin Liangsu), has been described as a quiet and comfortable retreat for travelers looking to unwind after a day of exploring. Popular among visitors to nearby Yangshuo, the hotel combines modern comfort with easy access to one of China’s most scenic regions.

In the viral video, the woman showcases a sleek, futuristic hotel room surrounded by towering limestone peaks. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows provide uninterrupted views of the mountains, prompting many viewers to compare the scenery to the floating landscapes seen in the film Avatar. Some even questioned whether the visuals were real.

The hotel’s design harmonizes contemporary architecture with the natural environment. Minimalist interiors, soft lighting, and wide windows keep the focus on the surrounding scenery. Early mornings and nighttime views are especially striking, as clouds and mist drift between the peaks.

The experience comes at a premium. Rooms reportedly cost around $400 per night, placing the hotel firmly in the luxury category. While some social media users debated the price, others said the view alone justified the cost.

At first glance, many believed AI created the scene, but the hotel and its surroundings are entirely real, once again proving that nature can still rival imagination. Guilin has long been a major tourist destination, and this hotel with an Avatar-like view in China is now adding to the region’s growing international appeal.
