The skyline of Dubai Marina is set to be redefined with the construction of The Six Senses Residences, which is expected to be the world’s tallest residential tower by 2028. Located on the picturesque Palm Jumeirah and Dubai Harbor Beachfront, this architectural wonder will stand at 517 metres (1,696 feet) tall, considerably taller than New York City’s Central Park Tower, currently the tallest residential building.

Designed by global architectural firm Woods Bagot and engineered by WSP Middle East, The Six Senses Residences will feature a sleek, rounded tower that tapers to a point. The project is a collaboration with UAE-based developer Select Group, known for their innovative real estate developments. The interiors are being crafted by Melbourne-based studio Mitchell & Eades, ensuring a luxurious living experience.

The tower will consist of 122 stories with 251 ultra- luxurious apartments, deluxe apartments, and half-floor penthouses with the size of 1,977 to 5,773 sqft. There will also be the duplex and triplex ‘Sky Mansions’ spanning upto 14,102 sq ft for those seeking even more opulence.

The facilities in The Six Senses Residences are designed to promote a wellness-centric lifestyle. The residents will be able to enjoy the residents’ lounge, meeting rooms, study area, games room, and cinema. The Skydeck at 109th floor will provide the residents with a 25-metre lap pool and landscaped social areas. The wellness facilities include a longevity centre, cryo chamber and specialised fitness amenities, such as virtual cycling and boxing studios.

“Having had the opportunity to bring our first project on the Palm into fruition with Select Group, this residential community is the next step in appealing to Dubai’s wellness-conscious community,” Neil Jacobs, CEO of Six Senses, told a publication.

The project aims to combine the elements of luxury and holistic wellness, providing residents with a range of services designed to enhance their quality of life.

The Six Senses Residences were developed from the Pentominium Tower in 2007, however, the construction was stopped due to the global financial crisis. Select Group bought the unfinished building for $100 million and has taken the responsibility of finishing it. Currently, the project is in the 25% stage although it will be completed by the end of the year 2028.
