Radisson Collection Resort was designed by Archi-Union Architects in 2021 and is located in Nanjing, China. Radisson Collection Resort, part of Jiangsu Horticultural Expo Park in the abandoned mining area of the Mountain of Tang.
The empty area is a unique opportunity to create an Expo Park. The area allowed architects to reinterpret the dialogue between manmade and nature in the post-humanistic era.
The resort is approximately 35,000 square meters and looks at the north slope cliff of the Mountain Monument of Yang. The building sits in a hilly area, low in the north and high in the south, so the landscape has a diverse texture.
During the project designing process, the team used GIS visualization technology to analyze and interpret the relationship between the cliff wall, the pool scene, and the site trend.
