During 2019’s Milan Design Week, MuDD Architects collaborated with Canya Viva, Summum Engineering and AKT II to build ‘Terramia’ housing prototypes using a combination of drone spraying, drone blowing and drone lifting. Realized in just 5 days in palazzo regione Lombardia, the team utilized local raw materials, such as mud and bamboo, to form the series of earthen shells. ‘Open Residence Open Platform’ is the concept of transformation of The Russian pavilion at the Venice Biennale into a cross-disciplinary residence. Architects expanded the space for the exhibition and involved not only the existing building, but also the entire surrounding area, including the garden and lagoon. Russia pavilion is the only pavilion that has possibility to connect with lagoon, but didn’t use it yet. The construction of the pavilion itself is a starting point, opening up opportunities for adjacent territories and spaces. Richard Hassell, founding director of award-winning WOHA Architects was interviewed by Hamid Hassanzadeh, Founder of PA in a candid conversation on his diverse set of works in the PA Talks series. Richard Hassell was born in 1966 and graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1989. He was awarded a Master of Architecture degree from the RMIT University, Melbourne in 2002.

In this episode of PA Talks, the Founder of PA – Hamid Hassanzadeh, interviewed the founder and innovator of MAD Architects Ma Yansong through an Instagram live session. Ma Yansong brought fame to the architecture field in China by becoming a worldwide known Chinese architect in the international scene.
