Plans have emerged for a hotel project in Dubai that would rank among the tallest hospitality developments ever proposed. The “Emirates Air Hotel” concept envisions a 580-meter-tall tower with 125 floors and an estimated development cost of around $3 billion.
According to project details reported in international media, the most striking feature would be a full-scale Emirates Airbus A380 mounted at the very top of the building. The aircraft is designed as a permanent installation rather than a functioning plane, serving as a luxury attraction integrated into the hotel complex.
The proposal suggests that guests would be able to access the aircraft directly from the upper floors of the tower. Plans include a high-altitude sky bar on the 125th floor, with walk-through access into the A380’s cabin and glass-bottom walkways extending onto the wings, offering panoramic views over Dubai.
The proposed features include a 360-degree infinity pool positioned high above the city, luxury royal suites limited to just seven keys worldwide, with each occupying an entire floor, and three Michelin-starred restaurants, including one set inside the cockpit of the A380. Plans also highlight an Emirates First Class–style lounge experience, a nightclub located at the tip of the aircraft wing that doubles as a helipad during the day, and ultra-premium leisure spaces throughout the tower.
If built to the proposed height, the Emirates Air Hotel would surpass many of the world’s tallest hotels and further reinforce Dubai’s reputation for record-breaking architecture and large-scale tourism projects. Developers have positioned the concept as a combined luxury hotel, observation destination, and aviation-themed experience.
As of now, the project remains at the proposal and reporting stage, with no confirmed construction timeline or official launch date announced by Emirates or Dubai authorities. Further details are expected if the development moves forward.
