Google Bard AI and Open AI’s Chat GPT ate both AI language models but there are some key differences. Google announced the chatbot Google Bard AI, a few days ago, which is a rival to Open AI’s Chat GPT model.
Google Bard AI (Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers) is a language model created by Google to generate high-quality text by predicting the next word in a given sentence based on context. It is trained on a large corpus of text and can be fine-tuned to generate text in a specific domain or style using smaller datasets.
GPT-3 (Generative Pretrained Transformer 3) is the third generation of OpenAI’s language model, trained on massive amounts of text data and capable of generating text, summarizing text, translating text, answering questions, and performing a variety of other natural language tasks.
Letβs take a look at the difference between Google Bard AI and Chat GPT.
- Bard will gather information from data and sources that are already available on the internet. While Chat GPT’s knowledge is limited to events through 2021, Bard will have access to the most up-to-date information and will be able to provide more current information.
- Bard will have access to a plethora of data, in addition to being integrated with Google’s search engine, giving it an advantage over Chat GPT, which is backed by Microsoft.
- While Chat GPT is prone to making up facts and making up stories, Google’s Bard AI is thought to provide more accurate data to users. Because of Google’s massive data collection, Bard AI has an advantage over other AI platforms such as Chat GPT in terms of the depth and breadth of information it can access.
- Bard will be able to turn difficult topics into easily digestible, chit-worthy chunks. The goal is to spread knowledge in a clear way that encourages learning in everyone, including children. Chat GPT, on the other hand, generates content in response to a text prompt.

So, both AI models are intended to generate text, but GPT-3 is a much larger and more versatile model that can perform a broader range of tasks, whereas Google Bard AI is more focused on generating high-quality text in a specific domain or style.
